Metta Meditation for Positivity

Love, a positive emotion, is more powerful than fear and anger, which are negative emotions.  This meditation only takes a few minutes and will leave you feeling happy and positive – studies have proven this effect!

Metta Meditation for Mercy and Compassion for Yourself and Others

Take 3 deep breaths into your heart and chest area.
Then as you breathe in this relaxed state, say one line with each exhale.
Think of your loved ones and say with one line with each exhale:
– May they be peaceful and at ease, light in body and spirit.
– May they be safe and free from injury.
– May they be free of fear, anxiety, anger, and affliction.
Next, think of yourself and say one line with each exhale:
– May I be peaceful and at ease, light in body and spirit.
– May I be safe and free from injury.
– May I be free of fear, anxiety, anger, and affliction.
And last, those people whose behavior upsets you.  I do it for Donald and other egotists.
– May you be peaceful and at ease, light in body and spirit.
– May you be safe and free from injury.
– May you be free of fear, anxiety, anger, and affliction.
