Emotions are Fleeting

When you get upset, remember to pause and take a deep breath.  Know that this emotion will pass, so do not identify with it.  Instead of saying to yourself, “I am angry”, say “I am temporarily experiencing anger”.  With time this will become a habit and you will find that you will become calmer and enjoy life more.
